Thrilled to announce that The Bentley Project will be featured on the upcoming FYC album “The 68th FYC Album by Various Artists”. Their original composition “Distant Thunder” will represent their album “Kind As The Shade” that was accepted on the 1st Voting Ballot as “Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album”.
Â
“Distant Thunder” encompasses the feeling of their whole album which was inspired by the poem “The Sound My Spirit Calls You” by John Neihardt.
Â
Their New Age album is an Ambient Tone Poem that musically expresses different events on the earth. The track “Distant Thunder” musically creates the wonderful and etherial feeling you have when waking up in the middle of the night, warm, safe, cozy and hearing soft thunder in the distance with rain. It is dreamy, sleepy, and comforting. As the first track, “Distant Thunder” sets the peaceful, nature filled tone we would like to give to listeners within the new age genre. Bongo Boy Records and FYC by MoPromo are very excited about this addition to The 68th FYC Album.
