One of those valued partners is Echoes, the acclaimed daily two-hour radio program created in 1989 by Kimberly Haas and John Diliberto. Echoes has long been a beacon for ambient, space, electronica, and new-age music, featuring rich soundscapes, intimate artist interviews, and “living room” performances. John has been an incredible supporter of the Wayfarer family, regularly featuring our artists on the air. For any artist, there’s nothing quite like hearing your music played across the airwaves.
But like many in the music world, Echoes faces financial challenges. To keep the program thriving, they’ve been calling on listeners for donations. At Wayfarer, we believe in creative solutions—and we saw an opportunity to help. We reached out to our artists and invited them to contribute original tracks to a special compilation CD. Our idea: donate 200 copies of this exclusive album to Echoes, which they can offer in exchange for listener donations.
