This week, Wayfarer Records will be releasing their third full-length project from the incomparable Michelle Qureshi. Her Wayfarer premiere release Be In This World quickly became a radio favorite upon its release earlier this year and recently Michelle released her collaborative album One Is All with fellow Wayfarer Sean O’Bryan Smith to high critical praise. Now, Michelle returns with a new solo album for Wayfarer entitled Echoes of the Canyon.
In anticipation of the upcoming release, the highly popular website MainlyPiano.com had a chance to check out Echoes of the Canyon and had nothing but, great things to say. In their breakdown of the album, MainlyPiano.com said “Echoes of the Canyon is a fascinating concept album with music that is sometimes very melodic and sometimes very ambient and still.” We could not agree more.
