Speris is a project started by Spears and Paris 25 years ago and has been in various stages of development ever since. Once adding the rhythmic touch of LeGere, Speris quickly evolved this year into one of Groovetron’s most ambitious projects to date marrying elements of ambient, fusion, chill and prog rock in a truly creative and artistic way. To give the album its signature sound, Nashville based mixing engineer Mark Richardson of Alchematic Sound gave the album a vibrance and warmth that harkens back to the days of vinyl with just the right modern touch.
