One of the greatest perks about being part of a music collective versus more traditional music industry business models is the natural spirit of collaboration that tends to present itself. Recently, a number of Wayfarer artists began to take this concept to a new level by tossing song ideas into our group chat and letting whomever take the idea and run with it to see where the music may go. The concept quickly became a hit idea among all of the Wayfarers and beginning in June, we will be releasing these collaborations as Wayfarer exclusive singles.
The first collaboration to be released as a Wayfarer Records exclusive single is the song After Hours Serenade. The song is a collaboration by two of Wayfarerâs newest artists Jaffe and JJRD along with Wayfarerâs recent chart topper Dieter Spears. After Hours Serenade is a beautiful blend of each of these unique artistâs styles and is a perfect musical culmination of the spirit of Wayfarer.
Dieter Spears has been owning the charts all year with his albums Late Day Summer Breeze and The Signal. Jaffe has also been making a name for himself being featured on some of the top radio shows with his Wayfarer Records debut Heroes. JJRDâs recently released Mirror Mirror has been quickly embraced by radio and is sure to be a hit throughout the summer.
