THE BENTLEY PROJECT
The Bentley Project is a harp and guitar duo blending elements of new age, classical, and folk music. Formed in 2018 and based in Parkville, Missouri, the duo performs and records original compositions and arrangements throughout the Midwest.
Theresa Bentley performs on Celtic lever harp, pedal harp, Italian Baroque triple harp, piano, synthesizers, French horn, and vocals. Her performance background includes work with the Kansas City Symphony, Ray Charles, Roger Daltrey, and John Tesh’s Olympic orchestra, as well as membership in ensembles such as the Kansas City Symphony Chorus, Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, and the St. Joseph Symphony. She has also appeared at the Spoleto Opera Festival in Charleston, SC and in Spoleto, Italy.
Mark Bentley is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist specializing in classical and acoustic guitar, mandolin, Baroque guitar, and ukulele. He is the owner of Bentley Guitar Studios and has served as a guitar professor at Missouri Western State College and Park University. Mark was also a touring artist with the Bentley/Neihardt guitar duo through the Missouri Arts Council, performing extensively in the U.S. and Europe.
Together, Theresa and Mark write, record, and perform music that resonates with elegance, atmosphere, and emotion.
