Wayfarer Music Group: A Powerful Fourth Quarter for Dieter Spears
Wayfarer Music Group Vice President Dieter Spears has been keeping a full creative schedule this fourth quarter.
In September, he reunited with long-time friend Brian Paris and brought in Wayfarer artist Gray LeGere for his dynamic drum work. Together, they completely rebuilt their first album from 1993—reviving it under the name SPERIS, a fusion of their last names (Spears + Paris). The album’s distinctive “Ambient Fusion” sound blends intricate synth textures, live bass, and guitar performances. SPERIS has been met with critical praise and is currently charting at #15 on the One World Radio Charts.
In October, Dieter revisited an earlier cinematic project that had never reached the market—a horror film concept titled DeathHaus. Originally composed as a series of haunting score cues, he reimagined and stitched them into a continuous 37-minute soundscape titled Le Carnaval du Macabre. The resulting piece is a dark, atmospheric journey perfect for the Halloween season. Our friends at New Age Notes Radio will broadcast the full work on Halloween night at 7 PM Central.
Now, as November arrives, Dieter unveils his ninth studio album, a deeply personal and heartfelt project titled Eternal Trust. Following his chart-topping releases Late Day Summer Breeze and The Signal, this album marks his most emotionally resonant work to date. Written as a gift for his wife, Donna, in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary (November 4), the record draws inspiration from a lifetime of shared memories and love. Collaborations include Wayfarer artist Christopher Caouette, who contributed stunning violin performances on “She’s My Everything” and the title track.
The album has already received glowing early reviews, including a feature by Jonathan Widran (JWVibe) (LINK) and an in-depth interview in New Age Notes Magazine (November Edition) where Dieter discusses the creation and meaning behind the project.
As always, Wayfarer Wednesday will host a Bandcamp listening party on November 5 at 7 PM CST. [RSVP here] to join us, pour a glass of wine, and experience this incredible musical journey—one that’s straight from the heart.
