Wayfarer Music Group is beyond excited to announce that Groovetron Records, the latest brand in the Wayfarer Music Group, has just released their first three singles to launch the brand new sub-label from Wayfarer Music Group. The songs all show the jazzy side of some of your favorite Wayfarers for the inaugural releases. Jazz is just one of the many styles that Groovetron Records will be featuring from the Wayfarer Music Group family of artists.
To properly launch Groovetron, highly acclaimed trumpet/flugehorn player Keith Fiala takes us on a ride with his brand new single Oceanside Highway featuring Billy Denk & Sean O’Bryan Smith. This grooving new track instantly transports you and gets you moving. Radio has been agreeing as they are gobbling this one up for airplay as fast as they can go.
Next up is Groovetron’s first collaborative trio release from Wayfarer artists Scott Reich, Billy Denk & Sean O’Bryan Smith. The song was composed by Scott Reich and arranged by both Reich and Billy Denk. The song is entitled Not So Much and is a sophisticated yet infectious mix of groove and jazz fusion reminiscent of groups like The Yellowjackets and Fattburger. Not So Much has recently been featured on a number of radio programs worldwide.
Finally, Wayfarer’s own Sean O’Bryan Smith again shows us his groovy side but, this time he brings in Grammy nominated and multi-platinum selling composer Jeff Franzel for a wonderful new LoFi Jazz meets ambient composition entitled Come and Go. The song was composed by Franzel with Smith producing and adding his trademark sounds.
