Recently, Wayfarer’s own Ambiente Solstice was invited to use his expertise to create a sound demo featuring a new library from the popular software company Rocky Mountain Sounds. This is not the first sound demo Ambiente Solstice has contributed to Rocky Mountain Sounds. This time, he joins other talented sound demo team members for the Convergence library.

Convergence is more than just a sound library; it’s an immersive sonic experience. Each patch bridges eras, from cinematic landscapes and ambient atmospheres to retro-futuristic synthwave. It’s a new year and that means the return of the NACC Charts for our genres. The NACC Chill Chart has become the primary reporting chart for our genres and we are extremely excited to see a Wayfarer make his debut on the NACC Chill Chart in the Top Ten. Wayfarer’s own Dieter Spears takes the #10 slot in the first chart of the year with his album Late Day Summer Breeze! Music from Late Day Summer Breeze has recently been featured on a number of top radio programs including numerous songs on the legendary Echoes radio program. It was also selected as one of Cyclical Magazine‘s Top 12 Releases for the month of November.

One thing we look forward to each month is the Top 100 charts from the UK based One World Music Radio. Not only do these charts represent some of the finest music being made today but, we are honored that each month Wayfarer artists tend to find themselves in the Top 100. December’s Top 100 Singles chart from One World Music Radio is no exception and Wayfarer is represented by three selections from the 12 Days of Wayfarers holiday series of singles. Coming in at #52 is Billy Denk with Winter’s Here and right in order are #53 Brannan Lane with A Winter Mix and #54 ELEON’s Peace on Earth. Also, on the Top 100 Singles chart for his third month in a row is Dieter Spears at #80 with his single The Lucid State of Time.

Wayfarer Music Group has been extremely busy behind the scenes the past few months developing new ways to support their family of artists and today we are excited to announce one of the latest ways we are doing just that. Starting in January TODAY, Wayfarer will be showcasing one of their artists a month on their official YouTube channel with a Brand-New series called Highlights. Highlights will be a one hour program focused on selections by each month’s artist from the Wayfarer catalog. Every month you will be able to hear music from different time periods of each artist and even some sneak peeks at things to come later in 2025.

To kick off the Highlights series we could think of no better way to start than with one of Wayfarer’s original legacy artists Daren Keck. Daren has been a part of the Wayfarer family since 2010 and his episode of Highlights showcases music from his Wayfarer solo releases as well as music from Wayfarer’s special compilation releases. This past Sunday, the legendary radio program Audiosyncracy featured their Best Albums of 2024 playlist and we are very excited to see not one but, two Wayfarers make the list. The playlist featured a song each from Ambiente Solstice’s critically acclaimed ambient jazz album Short Stories as well as John Gregorius’ chart-topping release Communion. On the show, host Jamey Osborne featured Ambiente Solstice’s In the Key of Rain featuring Jeff Oster and Billy Denk and also the title track of John Gregorius’ Communion.

Jamey is the host of Audiosyncracy, a new age music show that has aired for over 21 years in El Paso, Texas. Audiosyncracy airs on KTEP FM 88.5 in El Paso, Texas at 11:00 pm Sunday evenings (Mountain time, -6 UTC) or online at ktep.org
