Over the weekend, we were elated to hear that world renowned music critic Jonathan Widran released his review of Christopher Caouette’s inaugural Wayfarer release Myth of Thalendria. The glowing review was highlighted by Widran’s discover of Caouette’s immense body of work and his in depth breakdown of Myth of Thalendria.

Since its release, Wayfarer Christopher Caouette’s Myth of Thalendria has been astounding fans, radio and critics worldwide. Caouette’s virtuosity and compositional mastery would be reason enough to check out this amazing release but, what takes it over the top is the collection of guest artists on the including fellow Wayfarers Nacre & Sean O’Bryan Smith. Perhaps the most memorable performances are reserved for the Ladies of Thalendria including four of the most amazing talents in the industry.

 Ieva Pranskute is a classically trained violinist with a passion for blending traditional and contemporary styles. Hailing from Lithuania, Ieva has performed with orchestras and ensembles across Europe, captivating audiences with her technical skill and emotional depth. She has collaborated on a wide range of projects, from classical symphonies to modern film scores, showcasing her versatility and artistry. In Myth of Thalendria, Ieva lends her extraordinary talent to the opening track, bringing the world of Thalendria to life with her evocative violin work. Her performance sets the stage for the epic journey that follows, weaving an atmosphere of magic and mystery.

I’m excited to introduce Robyn Buttery, a versatile violinist who brings her incredible talent to Myth of Thalendria on tracks like Come With Me, Unlikely Magic, and Night. Robyn’s emotive playing perfectly fits with virtual story inside Myth. Robyn is also a member of The Jackdaws, a folk-rock band that blends traditional sounds with modern energy.

Dalai Theofilopoulou is a versatile Greek-Mongolian cellist, singer, and composer renowned for her dynamic range and innovative approach to music. With a degree in Classical Music Performance from the Conservatory of Art & Technology in Athens, Dalai has trained under esteemed cellists and immersed herself in the vibrant music scenes of Berlin and Melbourne. Her performances, blending electric and acoustic cello setups, have taken her around the world, collaborating with acclaimed bands like Sólstafir and The Ocean Collective, and contributing to projects in musical theater, film, and interdisciplinary arts. Dalai’s passion for both performance and teaching continues to inspire the next generation of musicians.

Myth of Thalendria would not be what is without the legend herself,  the phenomenal Clara Sorace, whose powerful vocals elevate The Heiress from Myth of Thalendria to epic heights. Clara’s ability to infuse emotion and intensity into her performances brings a unique magic to Thalendria, making her an unforgettable part of the album. What is even more fun is I have a virtual library of Clara as well to use when I’m writing, then I can send it off to her so she can add many alternate versions and we end up with a masterpiece.

Clara is no stranger to fantasy and cinematic music. She has worked on major projects including “Game of Thrones” (with the Prague Philharmonic), the “Call of Duty” franchise, and collaborations with notable composers such as Ivan Torrent and John Dreamer. Her versatility and extraordinary vocal range have made her a sought-after artist in the fantasy and soundtrack world, bringing life to many beloved projects. Just take a look at her credits!
In Myth of Thalendria, Clara’s voice captures the essence of The Heiress, delivering an epic, emotional performance that perfectly complements the tale of magic and mystery. One of Wayfarer Music Group’s newest artists is the immensely talented solo bassist Benny St. Peixe. Recently, Benny started putting the finishing touches on his first full length album for Wayfarer and immediately got back to his heavy performance schedule. The popular Atlanta-based performer stays extremely busy and we are excited to announce that Benny will be a featured artist at Atlanta’s NoWords ATL instrumental music festival alongside such great acts as Glenn Phillips and Grammy award-winning recording artist Kenny Williams.
