Congratulations to Wayfarer Music Group recording artist Brannan Lane for cresting the 100k mark on Pandora for the number of monthly listeners listening to his music. Wayfarer Music Group recording artist and Grammy-Award winner Richard Theisen recently shared on his website the short story that inspired his critically acclaimed Wayfarer release Oceanova. Richard further explains “In October of 2023 my wife Gina found a story I had written a few years back, tucked away in some box in our storage unit. After she read it she said this would be a good premise for your next album. Over the next five months my newest release Oceanova was realized. The story is based on an actual Greek myth which I expanded on and it became a new age love story fairy tale.”

Oceanova is a tale of a young man who, with angelic help, overcomes harsh challenges and finds hope for a brighter future. It’s also a story told not with words but with amazing music, a rare feat only a gifted composer like Richard Theisen can bring to fruition. Weaving a brilliant tapestry of memorable melodies and flowing soundscapes, he takes the listener on a unique emotional journey. This collection of instrumental gems is a special one that deserves to be set on “repeat.” It’s an impressive debut, indeed.
