The Sourland Symphony – a soaring new work by guitarist and composer James Popik, celebrates the beauty and spirit of central New Jersey’s Sourland Mountains. Across nine original pieces, Popik and his ensemble blend rock, jazz, classical and blues into a rich acoustic soundscape. From the joyful drive of “Woosamonsa Valley” to the sweeping grandeur of “Southside Spring,” this performance promises a vibrant, genre-bending journey inspired by nature’s rhythms.
